I admit I also thought it unlikely. Sounds as if Joel may have been on the right track tho'. If double clicking can close the *entire* app then obviously it also closes the dialogs parent window - maybe just that, in *some* scenarios, it also goes on to close the main window>

With the problem users:
- Are the mice the same make/model as those not having problems?
- Are the Windows mouse drivers correct?
- Are they left-handed, and have reversed the left and right mouse buttons?
- Have they reconfigured any mouse buttons and are using those to click or double-click? For example, with some mice you can reconfigure the mouse wheel click to be a double-click
- (long shot) Are the mice wireless, and the batteries are weak?
