Any GDI+ library for Visual FoxPro has methods for converting image files to different formats. Link below points to an example that uses my GDI+ library. Though it requires to become a subscriber.

The GDIPlus on VFPX web site has this functionality, no doubt. I just looked quickly and could not find that particular code sample, but you can always ask Cesar for directions.
