Hi Stauart.
I do this uisng an IIF seek to the other table, as a Couln in the grid
e.g. iif(seek(CustomerNo,'MyLookupTableAlias','MyLokupTableTag'),MyLookupTableAlias.Name,' ')
You must have the other table already selected to be able to use the Alias
Regards,
Gerard
>I have a grid I am using to capture date in. The first four columns in the grid are bound to the table. I want the fith column not to be bound to any column in the table. Instead I want to populate it with a value based on one of the bound columns.

>CustomerNo

>Color
>Name
