Thank you for your reply and suggestions. I had to close the page without saving it (I printed a copy for my records). It could be a problem with the site or my browser but I won't find out which one it is until next time I need to save a PDF from the web. And yes, you are right, I should have chosen Internet forum; for some reason I was looking for "Computing in General."
