As you've presented it, maybe, but I suspect it would be tricky.

It sounds like all you really need is to get the SO#, so you client can pull up an existing (unamended) PDF and compare it to the received scan.

When the remote office PDF is scanned, it has to be given a file name. Might it be possible to have the scanning process include the SO# in the file name?
