>>Some of the best child labor sweatshops and child prostitution too.
In Singapore? Don't think so- child labor is practically non-existent in Singapore, with school attendance up to secondary school far higher than most places, at almost 100%. There has been human trafficking but that's as illegal as it is in the US- except that people caught doing it can expect to be caned. Yes, caned. Doesn't happen very often.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
