I found three case in czech vfp email conefrence.

1) Petr Gelnar, 2003-02-11
Resolution: Before APPEND BLANK sets focus another object then grid.

2) Marcel Misur, 2004-06-14
Resolution: Before setfocus any texbox (control source of textbox is field of table ) call form.Refresh().

3) Jan Kravák, 2009-02-19
Resolution: None (is not good ;-) )

IMHO:
This bug cause
- if textbox's controlsource is field of table
- buffering is 5 or 4
