Hello all

I have a Memo field, which is set up with Chr(13)'s to denote paragraph breaks. After running an SQL and pulling this memo field, the Chr(13) is being replace with about 200 spaces?
Instead of seeing

"The Shakers were a religious sect established in the United States in the late 1700s. They were so called because their religious rituals included shaking, shouting, dancing, whirling and singing "in tongues." They lived in communal settlements where they practiced celibacy and were known for their industry, ingenuity, and craftsmanship. By 1960, the sect had largely died out.
{Chr(13)}
According to this paragraph, _____."

I'm seeing:
The Shakers were a religious sect established in the United States in the late 1700s. They were so called because their religious rituals included shaking, shouting, dancing, whirling and singing "in tongues." They lived in communal settlements where they practiced celibacy and were known for their industry, ingenuity, and craftsmanship. By 1960, the sect had largely died out.
{End of previous line is here, no Chr(13)}
According to this paragraph, _____.

What the heck? Did it always work like this? and how do I get my chr(13)'s back?

Thanks

Dorris
