With a /Q1 switch (Quiet mode NO interactive No completion message), you should not get ANY questions. The /gc 'filename' should Generate the log. The only conclusion I can come to is that the setup.exe or setup.stf/ini is dammaged. I would erase the Netsetup and Compress directories from your distribution tree, erase the dkcontrol.dbf, and rebuild the project. I supose that this could be something introduced by VFP 6.0 (I think you said you were on 6.0 in another thread) We run this type of install, automated, weekly, on 60+ users, and have not had a single failure, under 5.0 I have never seen a interactive prompt appear from an /Q1 install. Very strange !
