Uh no....it's not there. When I do an At(chr(13), stem). In the original memo field, the chr(13) is somewhere around 260 (iirc), in the query memo field it's somewhere around 508. In other words, the first chr(13), which should be at the end of 'out.' gets replace with about 200 spaces. Where I was seeing this WAS in Word and I went back to the query table to check it out.

>The CHR(13) is there. The question is where are you seeing the output of the memo? In other words, if you just do select statement and check it, it will be there. But if you're then using it in, say, Word, then it may be transformed into something else.
