I have a client with a Windows 2008r2 server, 12GB Ram, 2.67 Ghz Xeon processor with SMB2 turned off. Their network runs ok but not very fast.

Recently I have been using their server whilst I load some updates and test a new release. The problem is that I keep getting random errors when running my app.

I will get "FPT is missing or invalid", "file access denied", "file in use" errors, when I know a) file is not corrupt b) I have nto asked for exclusive use and c) file is not in use.

The error will repeat but on different table each time I load my app, but then all of a sudden work for a while.

This is all during USE statements so no write issue, it's just when I issue the USE.

Any ideas?
