My normal reaction to exposure to more than 15 seconds of his ravings is a trip to pray at the alter of the porcelin god. BUT

Humorists, pundits, politicians, etc. all make fun of the dozens (hundred? thousands?) of truely stupid/outdated laws still on the books of some state/city/county, etc. A misdemeanor charge for impugning the chastity of a woman definitely falls in this category and calling for his prosecution (persecution) is merely pandering and publicity hunting.

Well. Regardless of noxious I find him, Rush was exercising his right to free speech as well.

OTOH. A suit brought by Ms. Fluke for defamation/slander, etc might prove more interesting and possibly worthwhile.
