>>I'm trying to move several applications to Windows 7 64 bit. These apps make use of Print2pdf, a vfp program that outputs from an frx to a specified pdf. It makes use of ghostscript (I've found a 64 bit version) and a PS driver installed with "winsteng.exe". I've not been able to figure out a way to get the generic ps printer installed. Anyone solve this problem?

>I had a solution based on print2pdf running for a few years (not for frx/lbx reports, but to convert doc files to pdf), and had to abandon it for that reason. Switched to using the pdf plugin for Word 2007 or later, but Word is not suited for batch processes (memory consumption grows, dialog suppression is not covering every possible dialog, the bad file list grows and has to be cleaned up manually - no API for that - and once it does about 200 documents it just gets stuck and has to be killed). So I switched to TextControl, which is blazingly fast and has fewer glitches than Word - but that doesn't solve your problem, it's got nothing to do with frxes.
can textcontrol bu used with VFP??
how much is it?
