>>When my ASP.NET application encounters an error/problem I redirect to a page that displays the error. The error message is passed to the error page by means of a session variable. I usually put a lot of stuff into this variable. So the string content of the session variable could easily take about 200 to 300 characters. Could this in the long run cause a problem?

I don't use the passes session variable in the URL. I simply set the .text value of a text box control to the value of the passed variable. So that the user can see the error message details right in the text box of the page.
Thank you.
