I knew you were friends with Tom and that he thought highly of you. I'll tell you, I still miss that guy. We talked fairly often and I don't ever remember him being angry or even agitated. And you never really knew what the topic would be. It might be some miniseries he was watching with his son or going sailing that day. He was a prince among men.

It's surprising how often the third marriage is the charm. I'm hoping #2, whoever she is, will be it for me. After that, who would want such an old goat? ;-)
