>Anybody know what would make or break the Captcha in IE 8? It has been working fine for a long time. That is, when I would use a page that requires validation that I am not a robot (via Captcha) the field for entry in the image would show. But recently this does not work, the field for entry and the image does not show. If I go to the same site from FF the image of the Capchar and the field does show.

But if I look at the View Source of the page, I see my entry and I see controls pertaining to Captcha. I even see the label "Please show us that you are not a robot" which is not visible on the page in normal view.

What happens if you toggle the compatibility view (the button to the right of the address bar) ?
