Yes, it would be very easy to provide this as a Thor Tool.

Like the other Thor Tools that work with tables, it could be accessed a couple of ways:
(1) to access the current open table
(2) or by clicking on a table name or alias in a code window and calling the Thor Tool, which SELECTs or USEs the table.

From the sounds of it, it would also integrate well with Super Browse, replacing the feature there to Modify Structure.

If you are interested in pursuing this in Thor, send all the relevant information and code to the email address

It will not take long to cook up a Thor Tool for it, and I am sure there will be some interested testers in the Thor group.
