An interesting problem has started on new Windows 7 box. The operator will be entering data, or in the middle of an update, and suddenly get a "File access denied" message that pops up for a second and then the system will not update a record. I have even gone into a Dos command and tried to create a new directory on the computer and it gives the same error and will not create the folder. We go in and simply uncheck the folder read only box and the routines work again. I know the priveleges are assigned at the user level in Windows 7 but this seems to work. Rebooting the system will also allow these updates, etc to work properly again.
There seems to be no issue as to hardware functionality.
Have any of you run into this problem and, if so, is there a solution?
Ps. I have verified that when this happened she was the only person on the computer.
Thanks in advance,
Brad Trim
