There are third party ActiveX Controls - some from dbi-tech I beleive. However, I don't know if the method of adding nodes is any different.

You know... you could subclass the TreeView Control and create a simplified interface. Perhaps a method that accepts the name of a cursor.The code in your class could actually do the work of adding nodes.
