>>>Just curious... what vegetable dishes are imitated in meat, and named after them? Is there any attempt to replace, say, olives with gizzards, celery with lamb chops, or beans with ground meat? Why is it always meat that gets imitated?

>>Hrm... That's an interesting thought. We've all heard of vegatable-based meat "extender" and various vegetable-based fake meat, but no opposite meat-based vegetable substitute... Perhaps we could ask inhabitants on a planet much like what was seen in the "The Rules of Luton" episode of the 1970s TV show "Space:1999," or perhaps Tybo from the "Lost in Space" episode "The Great Vegetable Rebellion"?
