>the only time i got an "internal consistency error" was due to a corrupted file. mine always happened at a certain point in the app. it was when a drop down list was scrolled to the bottom. took a guess it may be the table that was the rowsource. used a production version of the rowsource table and it took care of the problem.

I had one of these drive me NUTS...came to find I had a control source in a grid that was invalid due to a table structure change. Every time I'd load the form with that grid I'd get the ICE and the app would shut down.
