In an attempt to fix some files (.ndf files) in the database to adjust their locations, I started to do as usual, thus to execute the script to indicate which new location the .ndf files will be. The command completely successfully. I was able to go in the database property and saw that all the paths had been readjusted. I also received a confirmation that this will only become enable once the SQL Server engine restarts.

So, the SQL Server engine was stopped, I moved the files to the proper locations and restarted the engine. Now, that specific database does not want to come up. When I go in Properties, I only see General. As a wild guess, I try to detach. I received the message "Cannot detach a suspect or recovery pending database. It must be repaired or dropped.".

Does that indicate a clue to what is going on?
