I know there is a way to disable that UAC mess all together - but I don't know if you'd want to do that or not.

This was pretty close. The proper setting is "User Account Control Settings". And, in there, there is a meter bar. I put it at the bottom. This means "Never notify me when". I did that earlier on. That must be why I did not get that window after.
