I still have not finished all the steps before I actually can see something. In fact the Mac OS I installed yesterday turned out to be not the latest to run the Xcode. So I will be installing another copy of the Mac OS in the VMware. Hopefully this time it will work.

We've been setting up a development environment for iPad - went with a Mac because it saved a bunch of time ($$).
