Two years ago I connected with my childhood friend, whom I had not had contact with in 50 years. We were best friends and his mom and dad were like second parents to me. He lives in Hartford, Connecticut. The two of us were called “the mad scientists”, when we were kids. We both ended up becoming electronics engineers.
There is a story behind our getting reacquainted, but it may bore everyone. But I must say that if possible, never loose contact with childhood friends. We had fourteen kids born between 1942 and 1945 on my block, in San Francisco. We were like brothers and sisters.
