Recently, there's been some rumors that VB.NET would be gone in favor of one sole primary .NET development tool at Microsoft, thus C#. But, when I heard that, it was a few months ago and never heard anything back after. At first, it remembered me about when they purchased VFP and where they headed into it, when slowly but surely, they would stop its support. I just hope VB.NET and C# would remain as is for as long as possible. As, it costs a fortune to move up to new technology when there is a need for it.
