>>Thanks for the information, Doug. Setting lQuiet .T. works and is the solution I'll use for now, I guess.

>>My COMCTL32.OCX is version 5.00.3714. I can't find any reference to a version 6.00.8022 on Microsoft's web site. The latest version I've been able to locate is 5.00.3828 which is referenced in article Q167121 dated August 24, 1998. Was 6.00.8022 released with VS6? If so, why would version 5.0h of SDT require a VS6 version of the control?

>I think that 6.00.8022 was a part of SP 2 (technically I'll show up as version 5.0 in ToolTips). I've got it on my machine. The version that ships with VS 6 doesn't even have the same file name. It's Mscomctl.ocx and it's version is 6.00.8177

I don't know if this applies, but I'll mention it just in case since mscomtrl.ocx was stated. Was working on a VB 6.0 project a bit ago that started with the beta version. When we got the release and installed it many of the forms shut down. It turned out that for the *new* mscomctl.ocx the name/number<\b> of some of the controls were changed so we had to use a text editor and go inside the projects and change the reference.
