My daughters are the same way, only they would probably peg the edge of the abyss at 40. It's an alternate universe to them. I do nothing to correct them. Let them enjoy their heedless youth.

>>>Our church, being located close to UCONN has a lot of young attendees. When I hear them mention something about the "older folks" I often ask them how many of their associates have ridden their bicycles across the state of Iowa. I'm doing it for the third time this July at age 69. That usually changes their perspective a little.

>Speaking of knees... while on our last mission trip in Tuxpan, Mexico, I tripped over a piece of plexiglass at the end of the 15" high speaking platform and fell directly on my left knee. Not that much pain but after returning home I noticed a lot of little bumpy things on that knee cap that were not present on the other. Asked my doctor who sent me for x-rays and then to on orthopedic doc. BTW, in spite of our "broken" med system, got an appt for following day. Turns out only a bruise and got the OK for bike riding which has become my relaxing and fitness hobby.

Beware of creeping control and removal of freedom. At first it looks like a good move, but then other bits and pieces may be added as time goes on.
I ain't skeert of nuttin eh?
