Two other sources of FTP components that work hassle free are West Wind Web Connect and ChilkatSoft.com. You may find shareware versions they offer. Eldos.com also has ActiveX components but they don't offer support for VFP.

>I actually got it to connect, but now it errors out when it's trying to copy the file that I need to transfer, error # 12002, which I think it's "The request has timed out". I used CoreFTP to test transferring the file and it transferred no problem.
