Not .net, but middle tier for front ends in vfp, html and later java via JACOB.
backend either vfp or db2.

Basic design had issues, some of which were not totally resolved - mostly in the area of tier communication schema.
Resulted in much wasted internal work, making the app not too fast on the machines early this century.
Worked as a fwk for a lot of apps, but was partly overdesigned.
