>Yes i have some code in client server applications with sql server, and some only in vfp, i am starting to develop a solution in .NEt and exploring the possibility- in the future - to put some code in vfp as part of a .NET solution using maybe COM+ or WCF.
IMO, if you have SQL at the back and .NET at the front then a pure VFP 'middle tier' would be the worst possible solution. If you have routines in VFP that would be *very* difficult or time-consuming to port to .NET code then it might, depending on the inputs and outputs of the VFP methods, be viable to expose those via COM to a .NET middle tier,
