I have no knowledge about Lianja, so I can't give you a qualified answer. My only point is that you should spend some time to consider all the alternatives before committing to learning a new tool or a new language. And another factor to keep in mind is how likely it is that the tool or programming language will be supported in the future. I have seen too many programming languages and companies with great products disappear for one reason or the other.

Ten years ago I was cinvinced that .net was the future, now I am convinced that it's a dead end. Especially since the hardware market has changed so much, now more and more customer requires that an application shall run on whatever hardware they prefer. The days when your customer came to you and asked what they had to buy to run your program, are history.
