Mel,
Thanks a lot.

Intersting stuff.

Yes I have seen them accessing the fox promoting Servoy for Fox People here. Infact they access all where they got a JDBC. (So if you realy like, you might work on a bunch of csv's)
The fox thing is not perfect, but they focus to do all in there server to be independent to the back and frontend. But this is amatter of taste. (^_^)

>Lutz, Servoy "shields" you from having to actually dive into or know anything about Java, but its there in the background (and can be used if you so desire). As you stated, you would use more Javascript than actual Java code normally if desired.

>Note: I don't think the articles mention this, but Servoy can direclty access Fox tables through its included driver.

>>>Neil, I also have the Servoy Developers license.
>>>
>>>Question for you: did you know Java before Servoy, or are you even bothering to learn or directly use any Java in addition to what Servoy does?
>>
>>Mel, as far as I understand this is not Java, it is Java script. Big difference. Or do I misunderstand this?
