>I am having problems in three of my VFP3.0b apps. Each of these apps are being run by several different clients. The problem does not occur very often (2 or 3 times in the last year). I am getting invalid records in several tables. Every field in the invalid records is filled with ASCII 0 characters. For example, if the field is 20 characters then there would be 20 ASCII 0's. When I browse the corrupted tables from VFP the record appears to be full of vertical bars. When I cursor around the browse window, the bars disappear for the field that has the focus. Numeric fields appear to be blank until they get the focus then they appear to contain 0. Logical fields appear to contain the 'bar' until they get the focus then it changes to a .F.

I've had a similar problem (in FP2.6/DOS) where users tried to activate a picklist and kept pressing a function key for which a macro was undefined. What I saw was:
SETSETSETSETSETSETSETSET (etc...)
Since this problem is so rare, do you think something like this might be what you're looking at? Perhaps someone accidently pressed (or laid something) on the keyboard?
