One thing that we learned in Catholic Grammar School was jokes about drunks. Here is one of my favorites:

Three drunks were sitting at a table in a bar. One of the drunks had passed out. One of his drunk buddies decided to play a trick. The buddy went out to the local delicatessen and purchased a small piece of Limburger cheese. It had a very strong odor, and it was kept well wrapped.

A piece of the cheese was smeared under the nose of the drunk who was still unconscious. A few minutes later he woke up and asked his friend on the left, “Do you smell anything”? His friend replied, “No”. He then turned to his friend on the right and asked the same question and received a similar answer. He then stood up and staggered out of the bar.

Two hours later he returned to the bar to find his friends sitting at the same table. He walked up to them and said, “It's no use, I have walked all over town. Everywhere I go it is the same. The whole world stinks”.
