>>You gotta figure, though, anybody dumb enough to go before an Alabama judge all Gangsta is probably a candidate for a Darwin award in his near future. Maybe this will be a survival lesson <g>

>True the guy obviously a complete idiot - but doesn't seem right to lock someone up for being stupid. As for the "survival lesson" - I suppose if you lived in Gangsta neighborhood you probably wouldn't survive too long walking around in a 3 piece suit either. What's the old saying? "When in Rome do as the Romans".

Exactly, but the guy in the three piece suit would probably *wish* he were in jail <s>

And I do agree that is impractical to lock up all stupid people - sadly.

Charles Hankey

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
