update:
I think I succeeded to create a connection in my dbc to the sql db
i also created a remove view

i am on my wayyyyyy

right now i am just trying to learn about sql2008 / vfp. I dowloaded sqlserver 2008 r2 developer
then I need to convert a simple VFP only app into one using data from SQLServer

if i don't kill myself on the way at some point it will be put into production
