Thanks Viv, that worked great! But say I wanted to pass a reference to an html file that contains the text I want to display in a plain frame similar to the one in which the image is shown. Something like this:

iframe id="fred" src="lcDoc" name="caption" width="300" height="300" align="left" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" /iframe

Where src would = the filename in the link. How would I do that?
Also, could you point me to place where I could familiarize myself with Java?
