The main container for the IFrame has to be DOCTYPE html as well. Otherwise, this brings IE down to compatibility view IE 8. And, with compatibility view IE 8, this HTML 5 audio tag does not work. However, when I set the main container for the IFrame to be DOCTYPE html, this destroys my entire layout, increases margins, affect the height of IFrame and so on. So, I will have to fix all those one by one.
