Who said PC?

IMO it will make inroads on PCs, especially when hardware manufacturers catch up. But its natural niche is mobile.

They seem to think it is the first new paradigm in 10 years. So now I have an open mind. It's different, true. I am not sure about the desktop but I think Metro is going to be a serious player on tablets. It seems made for a touch interface. And it has won at least one award from a designers' group.

>>>I don't know who you've been listening to, but most people hate it outright already. I work for Sony now, and we're actively trying to port over apps to Win 8. It's a long drawn out nightmare, and I can tell you that higher-up are seriosuly considering alternatives. No one in their right mind appreciates this UI.

>>>As Craig said, people will use it in desktop mode, and that's about it.
