Why would I do that? If I see something about MS I don't like, I'll express it. If I just like everything they do, I'm not making their stuff better.

Boot times are faster because 1) things are loaded async 2) they have reduced the footprint 3) they are using delayed load 4) they took out the slow parts.

>Don't get me wrong, as much as I like to dump on M$, Win8 on my tablet is great when using the touch UI. Having said that, I've not tried to use it with a mouse and keyboard. I think that most people forget to mention or are unaware of the underlying changes to the guts of Win8. I'm referring to the jaw dropping boot times. It's almost instantaneous when compared to Win7 on my tablet.
