Here in Central Texas, we have DO a real problem with feral pigs - these things are huge and can destroy a yard in a night. But we at least can tell the difference between a wild hog and a farmed hog.

Having lived with a girl that had two of them years ago I know just how stupid it is to think that a pig could be a pet. Most of the pigs that are sold as pets are abandon. And don't let the small size fool you either - a pig (even the potbelly bread) will get as big as you let it - based only on how much you feed them (or how much of your yard, furniture, etc. they eat).
