I don't find this news event remotely important and I have my ways to get news I'm interested in.
Anyway, I'm tired to unsubscribe from stuff I didn't subscribe in the first place.
It's your site and you free to do whatever you feel like it but it doesn't mean that I have to accept the changes.

>Would you have the same opinion as post Message #1541943, which is a post made by Mary Pilon to announce their user group meeting, which is a process that was done manually before as they had to post in the user group meeting section as well as posting a new thread here, and now this is all automated? We have five user groups posting their meetings on a monthly basis. Before they had to do the work in double. Now, they only have to post it in the user group meeting and that makes it way here automatically. Not only does it save time for them but it preserves the integrity of the meeting data as this is related to their entry so it they update it later on, it will be updated here also. And, it also gives more info about the meeting. And, I can make this option evolve for its layout and info at any time as this is relationnal.

>As far as the news, please, note that not all the news make their way into the support area. Important ones with the necessity to add valuable information may found their way in. Otherwise, I would have created the thread myself. But, because I press a button, I didn't have to start creating a thread manually.

>One thing not to forget is that many members haved posted their news directly on the site before, however, very rarely or not at all, have I seen a reply from you about it. So, it is because that post has been automated and displayed in a differerent format that you would like not to see it?

>And, as you know, you can filter out that category if you wish to no longer see posting in them.

>Also, I have seen some likes and good comments about this addition to the site. So, many members like this option. We also have seen discussions on related threads, originated from such posting, so do you think we should tell all those who replied to such a posting to avoid participating in such a thread. Providing a vehicle to distribute the information, either used for R & D or for our own knowledge is one of the prime objective of the site. If I would have stopped and frozen its development once the product was mature, the product wouldn't be there today. Everything evolves, but contrary to many other sites, the Universal Thread provides and always tries to respond to user's requests to adjust with options for customization when someone doesn't like something. If Facebook would have done that since the debut, their stock value would have doubled or tripled since then. So, if there is something you would like to propose to enhance in that direction or to the site in general, you may simply ask for it and I'll add it to the list. As, for the evolution of this site, there are and will continue to be new options or enhancements applied to existing ones.
