What if you have a check box in the account set up to "Automatically subscribe to new forums", that people like Sergey can happily un-check (and arguably it should be unchecked by default). Of course you want to advertise the existence of this new forums, for that you could have a "Last 10 forums created" list among the other "Last 10s" and/or a section in the dashboard "New forums", furthermore in this section of the dashboard (New Forums) you could also add the aforementioned check-box to easily change the automatic subscription option, as if it is hiding deeply on the account settings people will miss it.

FWIW, I do not mind this messages at all, they keep my mouse-wheel un-rusty and I can stop if the title caughts my attention :)
