Merci pour l'information. However, when I type 'C0000005 Format' without the quotes, I get 0 response. When I type 'C0000005' without the quotes, I get 89 messages of various forms of this same error. When I type 'C0000005 and Format' without the quotes, I get a message that 'and' is a reserved word. When I try to embed the words in quote marks, I get the message that " is unknown. Thus, so far, to date, I only get anything when I limit the search to a single word. I realize that not all search engines accept their arguments in the same way, but I have found that the ALTAVISTA search string which would permit ' + "C0000005" + "Format" ' to be usable, since there is a help document that told me what the "+" and "-" meant. I am simply confused since my limited time does not permit a complete stochastic evaluation of the possible search strings for the topic(s) which I wish to research. BTW -- UT is probably the best source of answers that I have found for a day-by-day use. DEVCON's are great imersions, LA Fox is wonderful for its commaradery, but you have done a magnificent job of putting out a truly useful tool -- my question is only how I can use it better, not to critcize what has been done.
