Click the star on the right, then click the icon that looks like a window with a green arrow. That will dock Favorites on the left-hand side

>You are absolutely correct. This is what I have now too, Star on the left for adding to Favorites and big star on the right of the toolbar where I can bring up All favorites. It was just different in IE8. But that is to be expected from Microsoft <g>. I will have to get used to a new way of bringing Favorites.
