Yes, I know now how to make the top menu bar to say On. It does not matter whether you like it or I don't like it. The issue is that Microsoft arrogantly change how the browser UI works from version to version. This aggravates a lot of people. If they think the new way is better, simply make this an option for those who want to change. But forcing everybody and essentially interrupting the work flow is bad; very bad.

>Mr. Kuhn told you how to display it, but I've found I don't miss it. Rarely do I need to display the menu.

>>I upgraded from IE 8 to IE 9. And of course Microsoft, as always looks to "improve" my experience with browsing the Internet, made the top menu auto hide. And I have to press Alt if I need to bring it up. I looked through various settings and I can't seem to find a setting to make the top menu be always On (as it was in all prior version of IE). I Googlds and found a page outlining how to make this work with hacking the registry. But before I do, I was wondering if I am missing this setting somewhere else. Do you know how to set the top menu On always in IE 9? TIA.
