Yupp, my rule of thumb is ~4% more cost. Or if the tank is totally empty right before a long range drive,
half premium plus plus half premium with higher ethanol:
cost hike of plus is offset by subsidized ethanol, percentage of ethanol is ~7% instead of 10%
and the stuff is not long enough in the tubes as on reaching the target I fill up to dilute ethanol even further.
