It was a very enlightening experience - I got to see first hand how the government wastes time, money, resources, etc.

Yuuper it would be. I actually grew up in Kansas City. I have some family & friends that ship me BBQ sauce a few times a year cause I can't get any REAL stuff over here on this tiny island!
