Right. Every situation requires its own thought and its own solution. Also, a REPLACE FOR can be quite slow (justifiably) on a large table.

>Be aware that REPLACE FOR or WHILE will lock the table, while the SCAN ... REPLACE ... ENDSCAN lock only the current record. In this case, being a cursor, it doesn't matter so much.
